Despite the nickname, Arthur is a fit and relatively trim cat. He went through a chubby stage as a youngster and the name stuck. As it turns out, he was just fluffy.

Arthur is a mixture of European line and native Maine Coon. He is not an exceptionally large cat, but is very muscular and sturdy. He embodies the breed both in appearance and personality. He is an introvert, and can be a little bit of a one-man cat, but it very affectionate when he has warmed up to a person. He watches over all the other cats in the house.
